Samsung's latest and greatest is almost here. The company will be holding an event in Delhi on September 17 where the Galaxy Note 3 will officially be launched in the country. Samsung will also likely launch the Galaxy Gear smartwatch during the event. It must be noted that it's likely the Note 3 won't go on sale till September 25, but we will get to know the final specs and price of the phablet. Here's a closer look at the specs of the Note 3.

Samsung’s latest phablet comes packed to the gills. First up is the 5.7-inch full HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and pixel density of 386ppi. The company has come up with two variants of the phone, the first packed with an improved version of the company’s Exynos 5 Octa chip clocked at 1.9GHz, while the second sports Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 800 SoC clocked at 2.3GHz. The Exynos 5 Octa chip-sporting variant is the model slated to hit the Indian market, though.

The Note 3 will run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and sport 3GB of RAM. In terms of photography, the Galaxy Note 3 comes with a 13-megapixel auto focus BSI Sensor, Smart Stabilisation, LED Flash as well as 4K video shooting capability. Added to the package is a front 2-megapixel BSI sensor that can record Full HD videos at 30fps.

The phablet comes with all the all the usual 2013 suspects like WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and MHL 2.0. Users can pick up a 32 or 64 GB internal memory variant, expandable upto 64 GB via a microSD card slot. Rounding up the package is a 3,200 mAh battery to power the show. Users who are in the mood for a different looking Note 3 can choose from a range of colours including jet black, classic white and blush pink. The device, atleast on paper, looks damn good and we will be bringing you all the coverage from the Note 3 launch next week.
